What We Do

Social Work

	Social Work is the first point of contact between the family of a child an intellectual disability and/or autism and Cope Foundation.
	Social workers meet with families to share information on a few things like:
	Family history.
	How the diagnosis will affect the family.
	Services available.
	Useful resources.
	Social workers offer both practical support and emotional support to families.
