In 2021, we were selected as one of Munster Rugby’s charity partners. Munster Rugby share our vision of a society that is inclusive and diverse.
We worked together on a very simple series of conversations (which took place over Zoom) between people supported by Cope Foundation and Munster Rugby players. The series is based on four themes:
1. community
2. work
3. sport
4. normal life
Article 30 of the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) is about participating in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sport on an equal basis with others. Together, we can make this happen.
The videos produced from the initiative shine a light on community and how every person has a valuable role to play in our communities – understanding, equality, and inclusion makes this a reality.
